A Beauty Blogger’s Guide To The Most Gorgeous Eyes
For us girls, our eyes are one of our most valuable assets. There is nothing more beautiful than a pair of big, well made up eyes. Well, I don’t think that there is, anyway. Sadly, we’re not all blessed with big doe eyes, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t achieve them.
With some creative makeup and all the best beauty products, you can make your eyes truly beautiful. I don’t know about you, but for me, the trickiest part of my makeup to get right is often my eyes.
To help make achieving the most gorgeous eye look easier, here are a few eye makeup tricks:
Start with cucumber
If you want to make your easier a little calmer and less puffy, slice some cool cucumber and place it over them for 10 minutes. The coldness from this will help to bring down any puffiness, making your eyes more awake.
Another benefit of popping a couple of slices of cucumber under your eyes is that it will help to get rid of those pesky dark circles. Whether you are tired or have inherited those dark bags from your parents, getting rid of them is a must.
Conceal imperfections
Invest in a good quality eye concealer and use it to mask any imperfections. To hide those dark circles, a concealer with a yellow undertone is recommended, as the yellow will help to conceal the dark areas. Create the illusion of bigger eyes
When it comes to your eyes, the bigger they are, the more beautiful they’ll look. If you haven’t been blessed with big eyes, that doesn’t mean that you can’t achieve them. With some well thought out eye makeup, you can give your eyes an amazing beauty boost.
To give the illusion of larger eyes, use a liquid liner to line the top of your eye. To do this, you’ll need a steady hand, and you’ll need to be precise with your liner. Start with a thin line on the inside of the eye and as you go towards the outer corner, start increasing the thickness. Take the line slightly further than the corner of your eye, ending with a small flick upwards – this will give the illusion of larger eyes.
Perfect your eyeshadow
The next step to create the most gorgeous eyes is eyeshadow. If you aren’t a pro at applying your eyeshadow, don’t stress. Creating the perfect smokey eye might seem tricky, but believe it or not, you can make using eyeshadow easier for yourself.
Invest in a good-quality brush, instead of using the little bud that comes with most eyeshadows. If you don’t know where to start with your shadow, it’s best to begin with the basics. Curl and volumize your lashes
Finally, to achieve gorgeous eyes, curling and volumising your lashes is crucial. There’s something about long, luscious lashes that instantly makes your eyes look bigger. Start off by curling your lashes with an eyelash curler, and then once they have a nice curl, use your fave mascara to add volume.
Achieving the most beautiful eyes isn’t as difficult as you would think, all it takes is a bit of creativity.
