Valentine’s Day: Easy Ways To Say ‘I Love You’
It’s under two weeks until Valentine’s Day – guys it’s time to start panicking. The good news is that this year, you don’t have to stress out about how to make the day special for her, as we’ve got you covered. The other day we shared a post about gift ideas any girl would love. Now we’re going to be talking about those cute little things you can do to make her day even more special.
To top last year’s Valentine’s Day, here’s what you need to do:
Make her card
Don’t buy her a card, get creative and make one instead. It might not be as perfectly finished as a shop bought card, but she’ll love it even more because of the time and effort you’ve put into it. Anyone can go out and pick a Valentine’s card, but it takes someone special to create their own.
The good news is that even if you’re not a creative person, you can still design a beautiful card. The best thing to do is go online and get some inspiration and then use that inspo to come up with a card idea. If you can’t draw or paint, using photos to create it can work just as well. If you’re really struggling with making her card from scratch, you could always use a card design service to create it. (Have a browse online, you’ll find plenty to choose from.)
Spoil her with a delicious breakfast
If you’re a good cook, why not treat her to breakfast in bed? What’s more romantic than that? Make her whatever she likes, be it coffee and pastries, blueberry pancakes or a fry up, it doesn’t matter. Oh and don’t forget to make the tray look all pretty with a little vase of flowers, her card, and a cute coaster. (Just don’t spill the food or her coffee all over her card!)
Don’t worry if you’re not a good cook, you can always go out for breakfast instead. Do the two of your have a favorite breakfast place? If so, why not take her there for a yummy breakfast and some relaxing one-on-one time?
Plan a day out
If the two of you are lucky enough to have the day off, plan a day out. This doesn’t have to be anything expensive or extravagant – it can be if you can afford it, but it doesn’t need to be. Valentine’s Day is about showing the person you love how much you care about them; it’s not about how much you spend.
How about heading to your nearest city for a day of exploring? Or what about going for a day trip to the beach – what’ more romantic than a beach stroll? What about going to see a movie at your local cinema? There are so many ways that you spend the day, what you do is up to you. Just remember that the most important thing is to spend time together as a couple.
Treat to a fancy night in
Instead of heading out for dinner, why not plan a cozy night in? On Valentine’s Day, all the restaurants are crazy busy, which means that your meal is often more stressful than romantic. Beat the crowds and spend Valentine’s Day at home, and treat your girl to a homemade romantic meal.
Treat it like you would a real date, lay the table beautifully – order some roses from Jephry Floral Studio and place them on the table. Dot scented candles around, sprinkle a few rose petals and do everything that you can to make the setting magical. Oh and tell your partner to dress up as if she was going out, to make the night even more special.
For the meal, come up with a range of dishes that you know she’ll love. If you don’t feel confident making them yourself, perhaps you could buy them ready done from your local grocery store. Plenty of stores will be offering Valentine’s Day meal deals, with ranges of fancy foods, so make sure to check these out.
Want to make Valentine’s Day extra special for her? Take note of the ideas above, and you can do.
