Here’s Why Living In An Apartment Is Awesome

I can’t deny it – I love living in an apartment! I know lots of people that hate the idea of a flat, but I am not one of them. For as long as I can remember I have always cherished living in my own space. Although I don’t want to ram it down anyone’s throat, I thought it would be nice to tell my readers what makes it so special. And, if there are a few converts in the process, so be it.

It Means I’m In The City

I don’t know why, but I always imagine apartments being in big cities. I know that there are apartments in towns and cities all over the world, but I tend to live in the big cities. The fact that I’m in an apartment just reiterates the fact that I live and love the big city feel. It’s almost like I’m living in an episode of Sex and the City! For me, apartments and cities go hand in hand.

They’re Beautiful

Anyone that says apartments are a lesser version of a house is lying. Or, they don’t fully understand just how nice apartments are to live. They have big ceilings and lots of space, and they have a vibe that you can’t get from any other accommodation. Plus, they are luxurious if you find the right one. I was surfing apartments recently and came across new qcresidences apartment development online. I took one look and fell in love because they are exactly what an apartment should be like.

And Low Cost

Okay, they may not be an investment because rent is ‘dead money’. But, sometimes we aren’t ready for a house because we don’t want the commitment. As such, renting is a good option and it’s mega cheap. If there are a few people living under one roof, the rent and the bills are as cheap as any are likely to find. And, if you are living in a big city like London or New York, that is a Godsend. In these places, it’s almost impossible to find good accommodation at a low cost. Apartments make the search a bit easier.

Extra Safety

I hate it when people say that apartments are not safe because they are in the center of the city. From personal experience, I’ve  never had a moment when I thought I was in danger. In fact, I think living in an apartment is safer if anything. My building not only has my personal apartment security, but it also has security on the main doors. Anyone that doesn’t live there can’t get in the building, which I think is pretty secure!

No Maintenance

The apartment is the realtor’s or landlord’s, which means it isn’t my problem. Obviously, I want to live in a nice place. But, that doesn’t mean I have to bother every time a pipe springs a leak, or a door comes off the hinge. I love the freedom of leaving it to the landlord to sort because it’s their problem.
